gone fishin

Zach and Jonah have been  fishing together a lot lately. I only went once and decided it's just not for me. Emma wasn't loving it either. She was forced in the stroller otherwise she really would have jumped in the lake.

It was hot and miserable. It's cooled down though, so maybe I should give it another chance?

It's so funny to me that my husband will break a live worm in half and skewer it through a hook with his bare hands but yet he wont touch the fish without gloves. I guess  if it were me I wouldn't do any of it! I am not a fish person.

When I said smile Jonah said "buzz whiteyear to the resdue!"  

hooray for father & son activities! I'm glad they have so much fun together!

buzz whiteyear dake!

Jonah's wish came true Monday evening! He has been asking for a "buzz whiteyear dake" ever since he saw one at the grocery store's bakery months ago. (i try to avoid that section when we go shopping now) I didn't have time to make a cake and I just happened to find this buzz ribbon and a perfectly matching cake at the store!

Every one had a blue mouth.

Emma thought all the attention was for her.

Preschool + Birthday

We got to attend the little party preschool threw for Jonah's birthday. He was  so e n t h u s i a s t i c about it. 

I mean come on! Check out that smile glued to his face! This is what he has been waiting for all year...

 

It was fun for Zach and I to see him in preschool. He really loves it.
