What I do on my free time...

I never thought I would be the kind of wife that sits home and sews all day.,but I wish I had started years ago! I keep my sewing machine in Jonah's bedroom, so lately when I put him down for a nap, it's on my bed so I can sew! Here are my recent projects: Keep in mind that I'm very new to this, so it's not advanced what so ever! ...Here is a little blanket I made for Jonah. I thought he needed a real boy blankie. What says boy more than John Deer and Camo right? He loves it too! I went to the fabric store and fell in love with this fabric! I ended up using it for my throw pillows and some other strange things I came up with to make my living room match. I think I will eventually just use it for my bed but since we are moving at the end of this month I figure it's the best time to experiment!

When you come visit, I need you to help me with my sewing machine. I bought fabric and everything to make a blanket, I still haven't taken the machine out of the box yet...

(caitlin's mom) I am SO glad you didn't make the throw pillows out of that camouflage material! Your skills are really improving.
