Sadly, Our little curious George has moved on to bigger and better things. He will be spending the remainder of his life, growing up on a farm somewhere in Washington. Jonah is devasted, and I have been crying over George's picture all day.
Who am I kidding? My stress level went down as soon as that cat got in my friend's car! As cute and great as he was, with Zach's allergies and Jonah constantly torturing him, I had no attachment to that cat. Jonah will miss his little furry friend, as soon as he notices he's gone. (george has now been gone for over four hours)
Jonah loved pouring George's water all over the floor, and sitting in his cat bed.
So Farewell George, I tried to load your tummy up on cat food before you have to hunt for mice the rest of your life. I wish you the best!!!

WHAT?!? I can't believe you got rid of George. Jonah is going to be traumatized.
Well, I hope you've learned your lesson. The next time you get a cat, you should first tape a sample of its hair to Zachary's face to get him used to its odor and fur before you invite him to become part of your family. Allergies are no laughing matter.
I'm sorry Caitlin. It's hard sending a family member off out into the real world. I'm sure George will live a long and happy life and you guys can get a Hamster.
As sad as this post was- I was laughing really hard! Especially dad's comment.
