baby Joshua

Congratulations to Kaci and Salesi! They had a beautiful baby boy this morning. Lucky day of 10-10-10!

Robert Crow Uipi (named after our (6th) great grandfather?
Joshua Lonati Uipi
6 pounds 13 ounces
19 inches long

he is such a cutie. But the poor little guy inhaled meconium and is in the NICU being treated for pnemonia probably for another week or two. Pray for the little guy. His mommy and daddy want to take him home soon!

it broke my heart mostly because the poor guy isn't allowed to eat! They are nourishing him through an iv. I'd be hungry! But I guess since he is breathing so fast they don't want to risk him inhaling anything else.

Check out my handsome nephew.

Lots of dark dark hair.

These are the only pictures I could take. Every time the camera clicked he started to fuss.

School already?

I don't think so Missy!!
But your mommy is a big nerd who makes you do these things while your brother takes a nap!
You don't mind. Good thing your teeth still aren't in. (And you're almost a year!)

wow. 11 months. You are so much fun! And you sure blabber a lot! I love it.

three

Today my little boy turned three!I can't believe it. Jonah you used to be my chubby baby boy, and now you're three and going to preschool!?

Celebrating his 1st birthday

 Jonah,
Time flies. We are so blessed to have you in our family. I still remember wondering if you would be okay as I was rushed to the operating room in labor. It was one of the happiest moments when I head you cry. You are such a tough boy and have been through a lot in thefirst three years of your life.
I guess we shouldn't be surprised at how head strong you are now.
You really can do anything.
I thought today how lucky we are that you were our first, because I had no idea that it was abnormal to have such a sick baby all the time. You are a blessing Jonah. You have the softest heart and so much love for every one you come in contact with. It worries me a little because you are too trusting sometimes ;)
It's bitter sweet to watch you grow, but I can't wait to see how you change and progress. I know you are going to do great things!
I love you buddy. -Mommy

Ok, I promise no more mushy letters.. but this is a long post! I guess I am making up for my lack of it lately.
We aren't going to celebrate his birthday till this weekend when family is all in town, but here are some pics of going to the park today. Jonah was lucky enough to have beautiful weather on his b-day!

I love that she is walking!!!!!! And look at those kankles! (but boy what a pain it is to keep her from eating sand )

and there you have it. The looongest post ever. I sure love my kiddos.
