Lashes are in!

I just got certified in eye lash extensions. I didn't think I would get very many clients for them after the course, but I had two my first day! I'm surprised how popular false lashes are. I heard Jennifer Lopez wears animal hair on hers,.... that's a little far for me! I really enjoy doing them though, which is surprising because when I took the class, I almost passed out from nervousness. It's just very tedious and you have to have a ton of patience when your the one applying the lashes. I LOVE WEARING THEM! You can't feel them at all, you don't have to wear mascara, and you look like your wearing makeup when you wake up! They last for about 2-4 weeks, in between fills (one girl had hers on for 5 months). The great thing too, is there's a look for everyone! You can either get the natural look, just adding length, a fuller look, or if you really want to,.. the Vegas show girl lashes!

The only uncomfortable part of receiving the treatment is when you tape down your bottom lashes with medical tape. That way, you get rid of the risk of gluing the top lashes to the bottom.

Trick of theDay

I bet you can't use your belly as a table.

Hot Feet

I should just rename my blog 'Tales of an ordinary pregnant woman' (ha ha so funny hu)because that's basically all I write about. But don't you worry, as soon as I have my baby, I'll write about him! So lately my feet are always burning up! I don't know if it's something about the pressure on them or just that I'm hot. This is my cure for the problem. I wet a rag, put it in the freezer for about 5 minutes, then I have Zach wrap it neatly around my feet. Aww, what great relief! Repeat every 20 minutes or as needed.

Falling out of a Roller Coaster

Okay, this is my worst fear. Every time I get on a roller coaster I do 5 important things to ensure my safety.
1. sit in the middle of the row (if there is more than 2 seats)
2. Yell the ride worker down to have him personally check my seat belt
3. say a prayer
4. hold down on my seat belt (or whatever the bar that goes over you is called) as hard as I can the whole ride just incase of a malfunction. In that case I would already be pushing my belt down and I wouldn't fly out of the ride.
5. say another prayer the whole way
When I get off the ride, ya I guess I had a great time, but I'm mostly thinking about how bad my blistered sweaty hands hurt from holding down so tight, and thinking how grateful I am I made it out alive. I saw this video on You tube and it's probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen and the saddest. This is my Fear! If I WAS ever slipping out of the ride, that the person next to me would think I was just joking and ignore my plea for help! It's hard to get any attention when your going that fast!

WHAT'S HAPPENING TO MY BODY!?

I was Scrolling through the pictures I have on my phone when I came upon one of me when I was 2 months pregnant. I remember taking the picture thinking how big I was! I even think I sent the picture to people because I was so amazed at my belly! Well if that was big then, than I must be HUGE now! I laughed so hard because how I looked at 2 months is so skinny to me now. Here is the picture of my belly then and my belly now.

Wedding

I don't have much of a story here, but I have a lot of pictures, and it was a really nice ceremony. The wedding was for Zachary's cousin A.J. Unfortunately we didn't make it to the reception because Zach got food poisoning from none other than.. you guessed it Mc Donald's! (Don't worry we didn't even eat there on purpose, it was a trip for another family member) but that poor guy, last November on our way home from Thanksgiving we stopped at Mc Donald's for breakfast and he got food poisoning that time too. I think he's learned his lesson now for good..we all have.

Trying to be as sexy as you can while almost six months pregnant. (p.s. my feet were killing me)

A great Evening

Okay, so I'm being a little sarcastic. Wednesday night at about 9:00 I started having pains in my lower abdomen. I didn't think much of it (since my stomach is obviously stretching) but then it started getting worse, to the point where I didn't even want to move. So, my wonderful, concerned husband called the midwife. She said to take a warm bath and if the pain didn't go away in an hour than go to the hospital because it could be a U.T.I. or a hemorrhoid. So a little over an hour later I was strapped up in a hospital bed while they did test after test. (I really fought going to the hospital) About 3 hours later, (and a very painful cervix check) everything was fine. I went home and took some Tylenol. ...I guess it's better to be safe than sorry right?

It was really late.
