We took Zach's brother's electric wheelchair out for a stroll on Sunday.
That chair is fast!Adam plays special olympics soccer in it. The chair can go up to 5 miles an hour I think.

We took turns using the chair. Jonah thought it was pretty awesome.
Here I am taking a Sunday stroll... using no muscles but the tap of my finger. I put that baby in fifth gear and I was flying past houses!

And then while zach was taking a picture of Jonah on my lap, Jonah reached over, pushed the controller and we FLEW off the sidewalk onto the street and I could not get it to stop!!! I almost had a heart attack. So the rest of the time, I held Jonah like this.
We are one strange family, I know.

christmas overload

Upon kelley's request, here are A TON of christmas pictures! They aren't in order like they should be and I am not even going to write comments about each one. Christmas was great as always! It was so much fun to be with family and Jonah was spoiled once again by his grandparents, aunts and uncles.

This is Kaci's paparazzi shot, and Zach's modeling shot. .... What else are you going to do in a backyard full of rocks?

lots going on....

I feel like I have dropped off the face of the earth! My mom just informed me that my phone's voice mail is full. That explains my life right now! I won't go into a whole bla bla story of all that's been going on but I will try to breifly break it all down. Zach just accepted a job in Arizona that starts the very beginning of January. We have to have our house completely packed and ready by this Wednesday (we leave x-mas eve). We have also all been sick so if I'm not packing, cleaning, un-packing stuff my husband boxed up for me.. you know like my boots, coats, oh and stuff to cook with for the next week..very sweet though, trying to find a house, trying to rent this house, changing diapers, putting Jonah in time out, nursing, suctioning noses, doing breathing treatments, cleaning poop off the walls and carpet (did I mention putting Jonah in time out?) ...I am closing my eyes.
I sadly haven't even gone christmas shopping. I don't know when I will. We are excited to move and be near our family, but I don't think I will EVER move again.. ya right.

These pictures are from earlier this month. Jonah loves the snow! Or Mose as he calls it.

Jonah has been asking for Mormor and Papa ever since my parents left. My poor dad couldn't get Jonah to pose for a picture with him. That's just how Jonah has been lately.

So much for putting up my Christmas Tree! If only I knew it would be coming down two weeks before Christmas. We can't wait to get out of the cold, and spend Christmas with our family!

last weekend in review

My mom is here visiting and wow what a help she is!! Every time she asks if she can take a nap, I tell her she needs to clock out first. What am I going to do when she leaves!? Geez mom, sit down and eat some ice cream!

My maid at work

Lots of yummy soups and dinners...

Zach had the weekend off..

Emma drooled...

and went crossed eyed...

Jonah played Geo Trax and Cars... with no pants on of course.

..and then it snowed!!

It's SO cold.

chicken legs

It's getting pretty chilly here and nothing will fit these skinny little legs. The smallest socks fall down her ankles, and even though these tights fit nicely around her waist, her legs are swimming in them!

Check out her little beauty mark on her left arm.
She is my little doll. I can dress her up super funky, and I L O V E it!

keeping my two year old happy...

has been quite a challenge lately.
Yesterday, he probably threw ten temper tantrums. He is definitely testing my patience every day. Since it is too cold to play outside, and I can't exactly take him anywhere (for a good amount of time) I am trying to come up with inventive ways to keep Jonah occupied and happy. Yesterday for example, Jonah helped me make cookies. No, this was not the morning, he just wore his pj's all day. And do I care that my son wears his pajamas ALL day? NO. I'm just grateful he is wearing clothes. Zach's mom sent us a package, and in it was a bag of hershey kisses. Perfect for Peanut butter cookies, and perfect for Jonah to help me out.

To my surprise, Jonah followed directions very well. He didn't eat a single chocolate or cookie the whole time. After unwrapping each Hershey kiss, he placed them in a nice line.

While I was turned around to take out the second batch, Jonah realized how delicious the cookies were.

And that's when the activity stopped, and I had to find a new one for him.
