31 weeks pregnant

Kelley has been asking me to take a picture of my belly but I put it off because I never think I look that big.... until I took the picture! WOW! My body! It's crazy how much your skin can stretch! ( I also realized how incredibly white I am!) So here it is.. at about 31 weeks! 9 more to go!

The Mystery

As I get closer to my due date, and our little boy gets bigger, (and kicks harder), I find myself pondering about what our son will look like. I don't have very high expectations just because everyone says babies are odd looking when they are first born. (I've also watched 'A baby Story' on TLC) Especially since from what I've heard, I had a smashed in nose and my husband looked like a little Asian baby. I remember my mom telling me that she was afraid she would have ugly children., but after getting my ultrasound, I don't think I would ever see my baby as ugly, even if he was a little odd looking. It's a beautiful thing in itself just to give birth to a child. If Zachary and I did look scary when we were first born, I think we both developed into normal looking children.

I really wanted to photo shop our faces together ( like in How to loose a guy in 10 days) but that's too complicated for me. Anyway, I'm very anxious to have our little boy! I look forward to holding him in my arms for the first time, with his little Asian eyes, and dented nose.

My Favorite Makeup!

I would feel guilty if I didn't share how absolutely wonderful my new makeup is! Jane Iredale was the first to supply estheticians and physicians with a makeup line that is actually GOOD for the skin! It has no fillers, no chemical dyes, or preservatives. It's just minerals.. Rocks! It's the only makeup that dermatologists, and plastic surgeons will allow patients to use after surgery or major chemical peels. It's so harmless to your skin, you could sleep in it! (though, I do not recommend sleeping in your makeup, still wash your face please!) Now, people always say, "well I use bare essentials, aka bare minerals." There is nothing wrong with Bare Minerals, I have some, but Jane Iredale is in a completely different class. I have noticed a HUGE difference on the appearance of my skin after applying J.I. foundation. My sister kaci uses her makeup also and loves it! Her products are really the best I have ever seen.. and trust me, I have a drawer full of other stuff!

I promise I don't work for this company, I really just love it that much! Let me explain exactly how the makeup works.
'Jane's line is a highly-sophisticated blend of minerals and pigments that are micro-pulverized, using proprietary technology and processes to form microscopic flat crystals. These crystals overlap each other on the skin to form a filter that allows the skin to breathe and function normally while still protecting it from air-borne pollutants. The staying power of the minerals is so great that they rarely need a touch-up during the day. And because these silky-feeling powders are water resistant, they won't crease or smear even during the most strenuous exercise. '

I can see some of you complaining how pricey the makeup is. . I totally understand, it took me forever to finally suck it up and buy it.. but WOW! Why didn't I do it sooner???! Instead of going to the drug store, wasting money every month trying to find that perfect concealer, perfect blush, that is really never that great!..come on.. you know you do it. I bet you anything you end up spending more money than you think on refilling your makeup bag with highly comedogenic products that run out quickly and clog up your pores..never satisfied. This makeup lasts you TWICE as long as normal makeup, and is SO much better for your skin, best part is...it LOOKS ten times better!

summer must haves!

Here's a list of my top 3 summer must haves! These are items I can't live without and I don't think anyone else should!

The perfect chap stick: 'The lip Scrub' is a blend of exfoliating sugar and smoothing petrolatum that softens flaky lips like nobody’s business. I don't know about any of you but my lips have been sooo dry lately! They are constantly peeling! I've seen this stuff before and I desperately need it! The only places I have seen to buy it are either at Sephora or online.

2. Sunless tanner: As an esthetician, I would normally have a hard time recommending Over the Counter products for your skin. But I've done my research and Jergens Natural glow lotion is actually pretty good. Especially the face lotion. Its SPF 20, light weight, oil free, and it's non comedogenic! I actually really like this stuff! It slowly builds up a healthy looking tan without streaks, and protects at the same time!

3. Old Navy Flip flops: Why? Because they come in just about any color and they are cheap! I just bought a pair for $2.00.

music to my ears

I was browsing through youtube last night and found this awesome music video!

okay so maybe it's kind of lame but this is how we have fun when Zach's not working! Half of the footage got deleted so I didn't have much to work with. If anyone has a song request for our next video, feel free to share!

The secret is..

I had THE WORST experience at Victoria's Secret yesterday! GRR.. so I went to the store Wednesday to get a truly needed new bra because of their semi annual sale. I couldn't find my size of bra in the sale bins so I left. I returned yesterday in hopes to find that perfect bra I was looking for. As soon as I stepped foot on that hot pink carpet the most annoying sales clerk approached me! She was wearing a white blouse buttoned up to about her navel with a very skanky push up bra on. I guess she thought she could pull it off because she worked at V. S.

Hoochy Clerk: (speaking very fast, with high pitch)"HI!!! Have you heard of our semi- annual sale?!"
Me: Yes, I have
Hoochy Clerk: GREAT! Okay Well we should probably size you so you don't get lost!
* She whips out her measuring tape around her neck and tries to size me in front of the whole store!
Me: No, No, No I was just in here yesterday. I know my bra size. I just need to find the right bra.
H C: Oh So were you sized yesterday?? Because it helps a lot you know!
Me: Yes I was
I start talking to my husband to try to get her away! I pick out some bra's and go to the dressing room to try them on. Of course... She was there waiting!
Hoochy Clerk: You FOUND SOME!? Are you sure those are going to fit? Cause I can really measure you, ya know!
Me: Yes, I'm sure, I was just in here YESTERDAY.
I get in my dressing room, and literally every minute she was knocking on my door to see how I was doing. I think it's great when they check up on you, but COME ON!!! To put the cherry on the cake, she knocks on my door one last time and puts her hand over the door holding a form and a pen.

Hoochy Clerk: Hey! Just wanted to give you the Victoria's secret Credit card form so you can fill it out right now and I'll take it from you when you leave! (as she shakes it in her hand, waiting for me to take it)

I didn't take it i just opened the door (while her hand was still there) and went to the cashier where she followed me and my husband to the front trying to convince us why we should get the credit card!! I left that store SOOO ANGRY! I wanted to shoot something.

Bon Losee goes to 7 Peaks

Last Monday Bon Losee has a water park day at 7 peaks. If you went, you could get up to 9 hours of time in...(in order to graduate cosmetologists have to have 2000 hrs, estheticians have to have 1200) So basically, it was like getting a free 9 hour day in. To make it educational, they had us do a worksheet on sun damage while we were there... reminded me of when my young women's had a "water party" in order to get us to do service for hurricane Katrina. So after filling out eh worksheet on how damaging it is to be out in the sun between the hours of 10 A.M to 4 P.M. (we were there from 10:30 till 8:00)all the girls lathered on their baby oil and turned black. Zach and I on the other hand, were lathering on the 45 SPF sunscreen every 30 minutes. Sadly, I don't have one tan line, but that's okay! Even though we were nasty pasty white the whole time, at least we're not leather. It was fun for a while, the first few times in the wave pool and the lazy river. After a couple hours, I spent most of my time in the shade, sipping on Capri sun and chips. I wanted to leave so badly but it was worth it to stay and get my hours.

My husband was nice enough to be there the whole day even though I couldn't go on any rides.
We bought a huge sub from walmart and probably spent half our time eating it.

Here I am, bored out of my mind! So what do I do?eat!
